This is a small (8.5x11") art quilt that I made years ago when I participated in the Art Quilt Journal Project. This has dyed fabric, yarns, wire and ric rac in the background. The doll has movable plastic arms and legs, a pleated mesh wire skirt and a photograph of me. The shirt is made from melting Tyvek and paints from what I can recall. This is an example of creative play! Trying different materials, techniques and just having fun.
Here is a close up of the melted painted Tyvek. It has great texture to it.
